Midnight Epiphany

As Nate lay in bed, he kept glancing to his left to watch Sophie sleep. She looked calm for the first time that day. He stared back at the ceiling, which was covered with mirrors. What Nate saw shocked him. He and Sophie actually looked like a real, happily married couple. She was on her side facing him with her left hand just beside his left shoulder. He could see the fake wedding band glisten in the moonlight. He couldn't help but smile. He then did something very un-Nate-like. He rolled onto his left side and wrapped his arms around Sophie. As if on instinct, she did the same and placed her left hand on his chest. Nate's smile just grew wider. He made a mental note to thank Hardison for screwing up the room booking and giving them the single while he, Eliot and Parker got the double with the foldout couch. As he looked at Sophie, he had the epiphany of his life: Nathan Ford was in love with Sophie Devereaux. As he moved closer, she stirred. She looked at him and started to blush

"Sorry Nate." he said as she tried to pull away.

"Don't be sorry, Sophie." He told her as he pulled her closer.

"What are you doing Nate?"

"Holding my beautiful wife." She couldn't help but smile at his remark.

"We're not really married Nate."

"Not yet." He muttered under his breath.

"What was that?" She asked.

"Do you know that you talk too much?" With that said, he closed the distance between them and covered her mouth with his.

Although she was shocked, Sophie quickly recovered and leaned into the kiss. It soon turned into an epic battle to gain control. Soon, the only things that were lost were their clothes. It got hot and heavy and turned into a night of passion and bliss.

In the next room Hardison was semi-regretting placing the hidden cameras in Nate and Sophie's room as a precautionary measure. He, Eliot, and Parker saw everything. Parker even brought popcorn.

"I thought Maggie said that Nate was horrible in bed." Eliot said.

"I didn't thing he was that flexible!" Hardison and Eliot looked at each other, then at Parker, then back to each other.

"We all know Sophie is." Hardison stated. Eliot and Parker just laughed.

"Well you did say he needed to get laid." Eliot said to Hardison.

"All I know is that I never want to see Nate in his birthday suit ever again!"

"I second that."

"I third it!" Parker said.

Back in Nate and Sophie's room, they were on their backs trying to catch their breath.

"Not that I'm complaining Nate, because I rather enjoyed that, but what brought all this on?" She asked in between breaths.

"Well Sophie, I had an epiphany that I just couldn't ignore."
