sorry if this is bad, i wrote is as a greek myth years ago if those of you who read it can you spread the word A tropical paradise. At least that's what it seemed like to five explorers who had come to the Island of Aeciospore. They looked around within the lush olive grove and saw beautiful yet strange things. A huge black unicorn with butterfly wings, a fifteen-legged ,five-eyed silver-maned lion, and a sparkling crystal clear lake. They wanted to swim in it but they put a sword in and it turned to solid gold, therefore they named it Goldwater pool, though many suggested Deathwater lake. There was a slight scent on the wind of the nearby lavender, chamomile and narcissus.

Suddenly as they were in the midst of admiring these things, the lion leaped upon them. With one swipe, their lieutenant Demoleon, severed eleven of its fifteen legs and proceeded to poke out three of its five eyes in a fantastic fight in which unfortunately, Demoleon lost a finger and nearly his head, and in a blur of sword and claws. Demoleon emerged victorious, yet the lion did not die, so this is how lions came to be today. After that close call the men knew they were to have many more for their mission was to kill the bloodthirsty Cyclops that had been eating the sailors that came upon the island. They ventured into the cave never to see daylight for days. Within that cave they killed the Cyclops, but it was a long process. It required leadership and skill. Remembering the adventures of his great-great-grandfather Odysseus the captain whom they called Alexander took charge, following his lead they killed the Cyclops since he had no boulder over the entrance they were free to kill him as they pleased, tying they're swords together and stabbing him in the heart. One week after entering the men emerged tired and hungry, yearning for home and family. One young man named Diomedes with no family or home decided to live there, since he wanted no fame and the threat of the Cyclops was extinguished. He built a house and grew a garden, later he married the oak nymph Cassandra and his family prospered. As for his comrades they were welcomed as heroes for no sailors ever went missing again and they told everyone Diomedes was dead, but it is said that the those who come upon the Island of Aeciospore are always greeted by a young hospitable stranger who is said to have been descended from the man who killed the Cyclops.
