Disclaimer: I don't own Boy Meets World.
It was at the party that Tapenga got an uneasy feeling.
"Cory," she said, "We have to go."
"No," he said, "Let's stay a little longer."
She sighed. Something was telling her they needed to go. She was a new mother. Cory and her had a 3 month old baby named Beverly. Topenga named her after Beverly Clearly. That was her favorite writer of all times. She and Cory were at the party of one of their dear friends, Sean.
"I'm sorry Cory but I have a bad feeling," Topenga said.
"Look what if we just stay another ten minutes," Cory suggested.
"Cory," Topenga said, "I'm asking you to trust me."
"I do trust you. I just think you're being a nervous mommy."
Cory patted her and laughed.
"STOP IT," she said, "I HAVE A BAD FEELING AND YOU'RE NOT LISTENING."
At that Cory grew annoyed.
"We are at Sean's party," he said in a hiss, "You're just being silly."
"Well you stay if you want," she said, "I'm going. I'll pick you up later."
"Okay," he said.
He went to talk to Sean.
Topenga drove back to the house. Cory's younger sister Morgan was babysitting Beverly.
Morgan was supposed to be babysitting but instead she was lying face down in a drunk stupor.
Beverly meanwhile was crying. Topenga ran to check on the baby. Beverly was lying in a pool of her own feces obviously hungry.
After bathing feeding and changing the baby Topenga decided that Morgan had to be punished for what she did.
She woke Morgan up.
"Ugh," Morgan said, "I am NEVER going to drink again."
"Good to hear," Topenga said, "Morgan I love you but what the HELL were you thinking!"
"Right now I'm thinking I don't want to be in trouble."
"That's not up to me," Topenga said, "That's up to your parents."
"You're going to call them?"
"Of course," she said, "Or you can accept punishment from me."
"Okay," Morgan said figuring it would be worse for her if her parents found out.
Sean gave Cory a ride home. Cory came in ready to apologize to Topenga. He saw Morgan.
"Why is Morgan wearing a dunce cap and sitting in the corner," Cory asked Topenga.
"To remind her not to be a dunce," Topenga replied.
Cory rolled his eyes. He lived in a house full of women and he would NEVER understand them.
