The barn shuddered as Dean hit the wall hard, fell to his hands and knees in the dirt. Turned toward Sam as his brother shot a round into the mother fucker.
Stuttered out, "Dude, you okay?" as Sam hefted him up, pressed Dean's own palm hard against his bleeding torso. Whispered harsh in his ear, "Shhhh…" Before pushing Dean into the corner, disappearing into the dark.
Not cool, and okay, Dean's hurt, but Sam wasn't supposed to disappear on him.
And Sam's back, transferring Dean's weight off his hurt side, soothing words in his ear, "It's done, shhhh…I've got you."
