The Book That Caused Everything
Pointless ROMY fluff. Remy finds a book of Rogues, what will happen?? My first X-Men Evolution fan fic!!
"SWAMP RAT!!!!!!GIVE THA BACK RIGH NOW!!!"
"Awww, come on chere' was in ere dat Remy cant see?" Remy ran in front of Rogue hoping that she wouldn't catch up. Really hoping. Remy had come to the institute after Apocalypse had been freed. He figured it was safer in greater numbers but some where in the back of his mind he knew he wanted to be with Rogue. She was the greatest person he knew and he wanted to give something back to her. At the moment get her of thinking about homework.
"Remy if you do noh give meh back tha book I will.." she was cut of as Remy turned around
"Or you will do wat ma chere? Hit Remy?" he said it teasingly and Rogue got very angry
"Actually ah think ah will" and tried to punch Remy. He dodged it and grabbed her arm as it went passed.
"What's in ere dat Rem cant see chere?"
"Nothin', and stop callen' meh chere!!" Rouge went very red
"Actually Remy needs sommat to read" and to Rogues horror he opened the book. She struggled against him, trying to get free of his arms.
"Please don read it!!! It's private!!' she begged.
He read the first few lines of one of the pages and stared at her in wonder. Does she really feel this way? He thought. Something slipped out of the book and Remy grabbed it. It was the Queen of Hearts card that he had given her after the New Orleans incident. He stared at her while she looked at her feet, going an interesting shade of red. Then he noticed something.
He was holding onto her arm. Her bare arm. He stared at it then squeezed it. Rogue looked up and then at her arm and gasped. He had been touching her and nothing had happened! Tears filled her eyes as she looked up at him.
"Oh mah god, I can, I can t t t t "and she couldn't speak anymore because she started bawling into Remy's shirt. He wrapped a comforting arm around her and smiled. His chere had finally got what she had always wanted. She looked up at him and looked shocked. "This cant beh real, I must beh dreamin' "
"Let me make sure' I'm noh dreamin either" He slowly leaned down and kissed her softly. Rogue stood very still and couldn't even breathe. Was he really doing this? She thought. Then her heart suddenly kicked into over drive. Oh my god he's actually doing this!!! She thought and did the first thing that came. She kissed him back with all her strength. They stayed like that for about five minutes, not wanting to let go in case it was a dream. Slowly they drew apart and Remy smiled at her.
"Guess I'm noh dreamin"
"Guess so" and they walk off, his hand around her waist, hers intwinded with his other one. The book lay open on the ground.
Dear Diary,
I cant belive it. I've fallin for that good-for-nothing Acolyte Remy Le Beau. I don't want to but it's so hard. I was writing "Rogue Remy" all over my file today and Pyro almost got it, stupid flame thrower. I don't know what to do. But I least I know this.
