Ross' POV
I stared, no I gazed. Here I was, acting on the show Austin and Ally, and it didn't feel like we were acting at all. I sat with Laura at the piano, nose to nose, my lips curled into a smile, and I was prepared to have my lips collided with hers. No. Disney. Ugh. She still gazed, but spoke, ruining the perfect moment for "Austin" to make his move. I always kind of liked her, but let me tell you, these Auslly scenes on the show were not helping me control my feelings. She shook her head in annoyance. I missed my queue..again. "Sorry" I whispered, as the director told us to "Take Twenty Eight." I sat up from the piano and walked to my dressing room, getting a drink and talking to the family with my break. "So.." I said awkwardly as we all hung around on our phones, or watching TV, "Any new song ideas?" They groaned. "I swear, that is like the seventh time you asked us that in the last hour." Rydel replied. "Sorry." I mumbled, sighing. They all went back into silence, I tapped my hands into a new beat. Left, right, clap, left, left, clap, left, right, clap, left, left, left, clap, clap, I repeated, creating a new beat. They looked at me, then back at what they were doing, used to my continuous tapping. I heard knocking, throwing me off the rhythm I'd been keeping, Laura. I could tell, her soft hands always sounded different from Raini, Calum, or anyone in the family. They were soft, nearly silent, yet I could hear it a mile away. I opened it to see her looking up at me, "I just wanted to tell you, we're on in five", I nodded, then followed her out so we could practice together. I hated it, I always stuttered, or got lost in her eyes, or forgot what I would say. Why did Laura have to be so darn perfect? I mentally face palmed, and told myself, "Just say the freaking line this time."
