"Who's there?"
The sound of steps approach
A sweet soft voice sounds, "Hello?"
"Luna?"
"Draco?"
"What are doing in here?"
"I'm afraid the nargles have taken my shoes and other possessions again."
Luna talked on and on about nargles and their mischievous ways.
"Oh." Draco sounded confused, just as anyone that has spoken to Luna. But, something about her was captivating. So, he pretended to be interested. As Luna went on about the nargles a sudden rush of feelings overcame Draco making him feel very nervous.
Suddenly, Draco grabbed Luna by her robes pulled her closer to him and kissed her.
As their lips met a bead of sweat trickled down Draco's forehead onto his cheek.
"Are you crying Draco?"
"What? No..." He sounded insulted, then confused, "I umm I'm sorry"
Draco turns away and quickly walked off.
Luna stood in wonder for a second then skipped away happily.
A week has passed since then and neither Draco nor Luna has spoken about the snogging.
It seemed as if they were avoiding one another although they desperately wanted to see each other again both where too afraid to make a move.
Soon enough Draco couldn't stand not speaking to Luna.
That same day he wrote Luna a letter saying to meet him in the Slytherin Common room.
He folded the note in shape of lips and blew to her during potions class.
Later that night as Draco waited for Luna to arrive; he rehearsed over and over what he would say.
"Draco?" said a voice
"I'm over here." He said.
Luna walked towards the couch next to fireplace and sits next to Draco.
"This is so romantic Draco"
Luna swooned over Draco. She had butterflies in her stomach. She wanted to kiss him again so bad but, was much too afraid to. Then she thought to herself, "What's there to be afraid of? After all he did invite me here. He must want to kiss me too."
After questioning herself, she decided to go for it.
Slowly starts to move in but, Draco stood up rather quickly.
"I'm sorry." Luna said quietly
"No. I.. I'm sorry. I... I didn't talk to you f... for days and k...kissing you like that w...was c...completely mental. I ... I don't know why I ..." He tried finishing what he rehearsed but, he stuttered too much.
"Look Luna I umm I'm sorry" He turned away too nervous to go on.
As he began to walk away Luna called out, "Draco wait."
He turned around and she ran to him, pounced onto him and they both fell to the floor.
She said, "Don't be sorry for kissing me. I'm not sorry for letting you and I'm definitely not sorry for liking it. Or loving you "
Draco got up and pulled Luna into his arms and snogged her passionately. More so than the first time.
Swooped her up and carried her to the couch then said, "I love you too."
