"Hey Spitfire." Kazu muttered half to himself.

As silence filled the air around him Kazu found himself half laughing. He brushed his hair out of hair as he pulled off his hat and clenched it in his hand. Biting his lip he inwardly cursed himself for saying anything when he knew what would happen.

Crouching down Kazu stared at the area in front of him, smiling a forced smile as he felt his chest tighten. After a moment Kazu finally plopped himself down on the grass and pulled his knees up to his chest. He buried his face in his arms as he felt hot tears silently roll down his face.

Hours passed before Kazu finally found the inner strength to move from the spot he had been in when he arrived. He brushed off his face, trying desperately to clean up how he looked and remove the tear stains from the side of his face.

After he finally calmed down enough to get up he brushed off his pants with one hand and turned to leave. Before he did he set down a small bouquet of flowers that he had been holding in his other hand on the ground right in front of where he had been sitting.

"Oh before I forget," He began his back now facing the spot where the flowers laid, "I wrote you a reply. Though I guess you'll never get to see it though will ya? Yeah, stupid of me I know."

He clenched his hat harder as he felt tears sting his eyes yet again.

"Love you too." He muttered as he walked off, leaving Spitfire's grave in the distance.
