Each break off (or just line) is for a different P.O.V so I put each one differently depending on who is talking.

Grass, sand, water

All have soaked up the blood of the innocent,

And of the guilty.

But for what purpose?

We're all the same yet different,

Why can't we get along?

No hate, No violence, No inequality.

Why must we kill each other?

Killing my brothers and sisters

Leaving my love and children,

All for what?

Freedom?

Equality?

Peace?

No, all of it was for power

Their so called "peace".

My life was for nothing after all.

My love dead, my child dying,

Dragged out of my home

Now tossed into hell.

I begged to be returned home,

Only to find out it had been burned.

Recovered from grief,

I hold the one belonging I have,

My family in my hand,

Hopes high,

I receive a letter,

Only to find my hope crumble once again.

My child dead,

My love gone,

I will soon join them.

No hate, No violence, No inequality

No War.
