Author's Note: Hey! So yes, this is a Vampire Knight story. So obviously I don't own the characters. And, it's dedicated to Zeroin. It's not much but I still hoped you'd enjoy it. It was kind of a writing project for me to do so that I could get back into the groove of writing more, because I've been at a block lately. ! ^^So this story is a spoiler, if you guys haven't read the current chapters of VK yet. It's not too bad of a spoiler though.

I'd also like to thank all of you who have always had my back. The support in my monthly and yearly readers and the belief you all have shown me, through comments and alerts, I owe you my all.

So, please remember this is my story, so no stealing!

Zero

Zero stared at the blank walls in his room. He stared them down as if they were about to transform into something else right in front of him, but they were the very walls he had always seen, since his first day at Cross Academy.

He didn't pull it to the surface, but deep down in his heart, he desperately kept thinking about how grand it would be if everything else had stayed the same.

He walked through the halls silently, watching the other students converse amongst themselves. With the exception of the very few selected Day Class students, the rest of the Day Class seemed to have no recollection of anything prior. No remembrance of vampires or the Night Class…it made him sick, how unknowing everyone was. He was angry at the fact that yet again he was left to wallow in the pain that she had abandoned him in.

And then, as if right on cue, she passed him. She didn't meet his eyes, didn't acknowledge his presence, but the regular stirring from inside him made Zero remember her words the day she had bit him in the forest, and it made him remember the feel of her soft lips against his skin. It all made him narrow his eyes, but not out of anger.
