Hey guys! This is the other little thing I wrote in that boring meeting on Monday… which I decided to type today as it is a SATURDAY MORNING and I have my first class of the semester. Today. On a Saturday. So… something to keep the happy up.
Also, probably gonna do another drabble like story, except each prompt will be either colors or flowers (or do two drabble Renora stories, I don't know yet), which of course people are more than welcome to send requests for. If you have one you prefer, just leave me a review or shoot a PM at me!
Anyway, on to the actual story here! I own nothing, but I hope you enjoy!
Family
They were all so close. Everywhere you looked, the teams were all so close, sometimes expectantly, others unlikely friends and comrades. And they really had to be, given how they had to live and fight together on a daily basis.
But something about JNPR was different -not just friendly, but something much closer. Team RWBY had it too, to some extent… but it was something to watch.
Maybe it was the way Nora made little gifts for her teammates for no reason, or the way Pyrrha created easy-to-understand study guides as tests came around. Maybe it was the way Jaune looked out for his teammates -even when he needed watching the most. Maybe it was the way Ren showed up with what his teammates needed… before they even knew they needed it in the first place.
Perhaps it was their unshakable faith in each other, the way they just knew how to work together effortlessly. Maybe something just clicked, in a way that had made their assignment like meeting an old friend.
Because Team JNPR was more than an assigned group of students, and far more than a simple group of friends. They were more than friends, more than partners… they were family, and nothing would ever break them apart… not Grimm, not time, not even death.
Their family would never break, and if you went after one, you went after them all. And no matter who you were, this was one family that would never back down and would never lose.
And there we go. Because I wanted happy JNPR family ideas… plus, I'm like 3 episodes behind on the new season because I've gotten scared. The feels and the pain always shows up right about this time in the season and I'm scared. I'll marathon it eventually, and drag others into the pain with me. So, no spoilers from me!
