A lot more than I was before. I don't cry as much as I did, but I still cry. I just wanted to post something that I've been writing since the weekend. It's just a preview to what's to come. Chapter One

The beating of my heart sounded like a thousand drums in my ears. My breathing came out in small puffs of air, my boots scraping loudly across the concrete as I walked slowly. The wind was cold against my aching skin, sending small trimmers of pain throughout my body. The town I was passing through was deserted. Just like all the other towns and cities I've passed through. All were just as quiet, it seems.

Sighing softly, barely loud enough for someone or something to hear, I stopped in the middle of the street. Looking around, I took note of the buildings that were still standing like they weren't harmed. But I wouldn't risk going in one of them. Things changed drastically ever since the bombing that happend nearly a year ago.

The signs and wood from the buildings creaked and squawked, startling me slightly. Every thing around was so quiet. I'm already used to the quietness now though...
