Heading back to the Shack, Grenda Candy and Wendy were thrilled to have won the fight. They yelled, laughed, high fived and flicked glitter at each other. Mabel lagged behind which Wendy noticed.

She sat on a log looking remorseful. The last time the redhead saw Mabel like this she was heartbroken.

"You okay? " Wendy sat next to her.

Mabel sighed.

"The unicorn blood has healing properties so no permanent damage was I stooped to their level over a few insults. It wasn't even about protecting my family anymore. Doesn't that make me bad?"

Mabel was still on about that?

"Heck no! C-Beth got what she deserved for being a b...Well, we all do bad things. That doesn't change your personality unless you make it. And you're still one of the nicest people I know Mabel."

Wendy smiled.

"You don't judge anyone. A lot of people who aren't my friends think I just don't give a crap about anything. See, not everyone will appreciate you and will only see your flaws. But as long as you've got cool friends who like you for you, what does it matter?"

Mabel smiled back.

"I guess you could say people are like dark chocolate. Some think it tastes sweet, others nasty. It depends on perspective."

"Exactly. I didn't even think of it like that."

"I feel better now. Thanks Wendy, you're the best! No matter what other people say."

"Same goes to you!"

The four girls proceeded to happily head back, wild and free and full of confidence. Life was great.
