Authors Note: If you do decide to read and bookmark for further chapters let me apologize to you in advance. This little, quite sick, series of tales has plagued my mind for many months now.

It contains multiple crossovers from various anime titles and heavy adult themes, including violence and sexual content. So if you're not supposed to be snooping around here, consider yourself warned.

Chapter one:

A lazy pair of emerald green eyes drifted between the world of dreams and the one of reality. The heat was unbearable during the summer, and as he lay spread out across his bed; he could hear shrill voices coming from the floor below.

Avery slowly shifted on his back, using a petite hand to move the long stands of auburn hair that had stuck to his face. On his wrist dangled a golden bracelet he'd had ever since he could remember, he had tried to have it removed many times, with all attempts ending in failure. It wasn't a horrid piece of jewelry; it just had always puzzled him, even frustrated him. He started at its engraving often, it wasn't in English nor could he find anyone who could translate it, so eventually he gave up on the venture.

He got up and readied himself for the day heading downstairs to see if his housemates had indeed killed each other over some petty incident, but he was surprised to see all three of them sitting on the couch placidly watching the morning cartoons.

It had been two years since he had finished college and agreed on sharing an apartment with his three classmates. They really hadn't changed much since then; they still fought over everything; so much for gaining maturity with age.

"Morning guys. What's with all the noise?" he said in a sluggish tone.

The trio didn't move, they were being sucked into the world of scribbles on the tube.

"Guess I'm talking to myself then?" He waited and was again met silence and the crunching of cereal.

Not bothering to go for a third attempt, he picked up his keys and headed out for a drive, hoping the fresh air might greet him better. In minutes the scenery surrounding him put him at ease, the lush greenery of the mountainside and living so close to the Adder lake made the entire town appear as if it were an island. The Towns Lake was once famous for its prime fishing, however when storms hit years ago the flooding engulfed the small town, leaving only one bridge to get in or out.

Despite being only minutes away from the city Adder was considered prime real-estate since the flood, it made him all the happier that he had pushed his three friends for the lease when he did.

Avery worked in a tiny little antique bookshop nestled in an alleyway within the nearby city. It was amongst the graffiti filled stone and quaint little café's that could only be found if you stumbled upon them by accident.

He looked back at Adder through the mirror with a sigh, and wished that he didn't have to leave today.
