You know, I actually get less done during the summer than during school. I think it's the whole "worker mentality." I'm already doing something, so I might as well work on something else. That and I'm not awake for as many hours during summer. Know what I mean?

Huey:...

So, yeah, I felt like writing something at about 12:30 this morning. Sorry if it seems sub-par.

Huey:...

That means I don't own Fire Emblem. Except as a cartridge. I finally got a new one! Whoever owned it before really sucked... Marcus was their strongest unit midway through the game, and the lords were pathetic. I mean, seriously, the whole "Jeigan" concept isn't specific to Fire Emblem. They probably bought it thanks to Melee...

I'm rambling, aren't I?

"Stay still! This will hurt less if you just stop wriggling!"

"It hurts enough as it is! Are you trying to kill me or something!?"

"I'm just trying to get the arrow out! If you're going to be ungrateful, maybe I'll just leave it in there!"

"You know what, Serra? That actually sounds rather appealing."

Lyn poked her head into the tent. "Ah, there you are Hector. How's that heavy riding armor working out for you?"

The blue-haired lord glared at her from his cot as he tried to push the pink-haired witch attending him away with one arm. "Quiet, women! It was a silver bow, you know how much penetration those things get! If it hadn't been for my armor, I'd be dead! In fact, if it had hit you, you'd be gone too!" Lyn's smirk just broadened.

"I'm too fast for them to hit."

"You'd better hope you're too fast for me, too!" Hector lunged out of his resting place to make a grab at Lyn, but she sidestepped, letting him topple to the floor like a giant oak. Serra squealed in alarm. Lyn just laughed.

"Apparently I am, huh?"

Hector grunted and tried to stand up, but collapsed with a hiss, holding his side as blood seeped from between his gauntleted fingers.

"H-hector! Are you alright!" Lyn rushed to his side. "Here, lean on me, let's get you back into bed."

As she helped him up, he leaned over to her ear and whispered, "Are you coming with me?"

"Hector!" Lyn blushed. "I ought to drop you for that!" Despite her threat, she carried him over to the cot and helped to set him down. She glanced at Serra out of the corner of her eye. "Serra…?"

The cleric nodded and, without warning, reached down and jerked the arrow from it's resting place in Hector's side. He let out a yell.

"What was that!? That hurt! A lot!" Serra ignored him and quickly patched the wound with a mend stave. "There, all better. I'll give you some privacy now!" With a knowing grin, she skipped off through the tent flap, leaving Lyn and Hector alone. They stayed there in silence for a moment before Lyn spoke.

"Don't worry me like that again, okay? You need to be more careful. It won't do to get yourself killed for your pride."

Hector snorted. "Maybe. But you know… I think it's kinda nice that you're all concerned about me." He gave grin. "Are you falling for me?"

"Hector!"

He smirked. "Someone else got hit by an arrow, too, huh?"

"I-I think I hear Eliwood calling!"
