A Rose to Remember
Sesshomaru P.O.V
I felt a ray of sunshine hit my eyelid. I slowly opened my eye to see the most beautiful thing in the world… my mate. As she sleeps her raven black hair is sprawled out as if she was swimming in a pond. I carefully kiss her forehead and carefully get out of bed. Today marks an official year as mates. I have something prepared for her of course! I carefully sneak into our private hot springs. As I'm in there bathing I notice a flower. I approach the flower and carefully examine it, the petals are a vibrant blue with the tips painted black, and scoping the thorns I see that that at the very tip I see that it's red. As if someone pricked their finger and bled. It also looks like a rose. 'Interesting this rose reminds me of something' I look around to notice there is a group of them near another exit. 'Weird I've never seen flowers growing in the hot springs before' I quickly get dressed into my kimono and pick a bunch of these blue roses. I go back into the chamber to only still find my mate sleeping soundly. 'Huh, not awake yet I see' I gently smile and shake my head. I quickly gave a glance to the bouquet in my hands and back at her. I smile gently the two have similarities. The only reason I picked these flowers were not just for its appearance. Yes they were beautiful but they are unique. Its thorns don't seem harmful but I bet if you get pricked by them it is hurtful. By just looking at these flowers it makes me smile. "Sesshomaru?" said the raven haired girl.
"You're up already?" she asked
"Of course today is a very special day mate" I simply say.
Kagome P.O.V
'He remembered! I knew he would this is Sesshomaru were talking about here!'
Sesshomaru P.O.V
I smile at my blue eyed angel. I approach her with the bouquet of flowers behind my back "Mate I have something for you, careful you might hurt yourself though." I warn.
"Is it another Katana Sessh, you gave a ton of those I love them but I think my weapon room is full." She said.
"No mate here" I said, unveiling the roses behind my back. I hear her gasp.
"Sessh, they're beautiful! I love them thank-you" she said as she got out of bed 'finally don't you see I want to spend the day together on our day geez'
Kagome P.O.V
"They're perfect Sessh" I said.
"Just like you my love" he replied
"Aw, you're just too sweet!" I said. I stood on my tippy toes to award my mate with a long passionate kiss.
Sesshomaru P.O.V
"Happy Anniversary, Kagome"
