A/N: This happens post Chosen for Buffy and between the first and second movie for X-men. --song lyrics--

when they first met mine.
I sat there and stared at you.
You didn't seem to mind.
The awkward ways we meet.--
Willow was wandering around in the park in Bayville, New York. She had let her slayer go ahead of her, Jenny had too much energy for Willow to keep up with her. As Willow went to sit down on a bench, she didn't notice the young man already sitting there.
"Nice night, isn't it?" The young man said startling Willow.
Willow jumped off the bench, "Goddess, you scared me." She began to look the man over to make sure he wasn't a vampire. Then her eyes fastened on his, he was wearing sunglasses. "It's night time, how can you see through those?" Willow asked cautiously sitting back down.
"I have my ways, I'm Scott by the way." Scott said holding out a hand.
"Willow." Willow shook his hand.
"You waiting for some one?" Scott asked.
"Yeah, you?" Willow replied.
"I'm hoping some one might come to see me." Scott said thoughtfully. They both started as five figures rushed out of the bushes toward them. One came from behind them, the other four came from the side. Both Willow and Scott jumped off the bench so that they wouldn't be cornered.
"Shoot, vampires. Where's a slayer when you need her?" Willow muttered.
"Sabertooth." Scott growled.
Scott lowered his glasses and shot a fire beam at Sabertooth, while Willow set two of the vampires on fire. On reflex Willow and Scott switched places as they usually did with their own fighting partners. Scott set the other two vampires on fire by lowering his glasses and Willow did a spell that teleported Sabertooth to the middle of Lake Erie. Scott took a step back as the two vampires turned to dust. Willow's hands flew to her mouth as she realized that it wasn't a vampire that she teleported. Then they both turned to face each other breathing hard.
"Whoops." Willow said biting her lip and looking upward.
Professor Xavier is gonna kill me." Scott groaned to the heavens.
--First comes heavy breathing,
staring at the ceiling.
What will happen next?
I don't wanna know. --
