Who ever said being Good was easy should be smacked in the face. I've been going to high school because it's "the right thing to do" and there are more evil people in school then there are in the brotherhood of evil themselves. Now before you judge, let me begin by saying. Workers in a union take sick days, when they are not even sick, and that's legal. I guess you can say I'm taking a sick day from school, because if I don't I'm going to loose it!
Still I should have seen it coming. I was just going to click on the TV to save myself the suffer of boredom and that's when it happened. A cold chill of early winter breeze flew in like a sparatic bird. "I could call the cops on you for breaking in and entering but personally I don't think it would end in my best interest."
"You know when I said you were smart, I didn't mean you are too good for school," Kid Flash smiled leaning on the wall near my open window.
"Yeah? You aren't in school right now?" I smirked, Kid's ego was sufficating my room. "I'm surprised the Titians hasn't closed in on the villians in high school. I swear the head cheerleader is just asking for a death wish sometimes." I pointed to the window, "It's a little chilly, could you close the window?"
He reached for the window and closed it, "Still you're skipping school." His expression became more serious when he turned around. Almost the same as when he persuaded me to avoid the brotherhood. "And you really shouldn't make it a habbit. There will always be bad people you just have to ignore them sometimes or even better report them."
My smile fell as I thought about what he just said. "You didn't ignore me."
He regained his smile again when he whispered, "Different."
"Yeah but I miss the times when I didn't have to ignore them or report them. I could just make sure I would never have to see them again with just one flick of my finger."Then my eyes glowed purple and my flower pot exploded behind him. He quickly sheilded me and I couldn't help but smile.
"But I also apreciate having others I actually like around," I told him. He gives me this unsure look and I can't help but giggle.
When I turned around to pick up the pieces Kid Flash rushes his way infront of me blocking my way, "You were saying?" He said wrapping his arms around my waist. He leans in for a kiss and says, "Please don't cut class anymore."
My smile grew as I relunctantly responded, "Fine, I guess there are some perks to being good."
THE END!
