A/N: This is my first attempt at writing something about Shin Chan, so please be gentle. :) How I loved to watch this cartoon...those were the good old times. I have to admit that I had to search for some names on wikipedia, because it's been more than six years that I haven't seen any episode, so I kinda forgot some names and stuff. Please tell me if I wrote something that isn't right. Enjoy reading. ;)
~ Of course, being pregnant also had had its downsides sometimes. ~
The 24 years old Mitsy remembered how happy she had been to hear that she was pregnant like it was yesterday. This was all very new for her, but she enjoyed every single moment of it and she knew that it was pretty much the same with Harry, her lovely husband. Harry did just everything for Mitsy to keep her satisfied during that period. She wasn't allowed to cook, work or lift heavy objects.
This had lead to some highly amusing situations, like the box with boots. As soon as Harry had seen her with it, he jumped to her direction, at once taking the box from her hands.
"Harry, it's just a box with some old boots. That isn't heavy!" she had objected.
"Not heavy? My foot! You just go and lie on the couch again, before you hurt yourself. I'll move this box of shoes away for you. Honestly, what in the world's name were you doing with this box anyway?"
"I was just bored, okay? Geez, how would you feel after lying a whole day, doing nothing but watching TV?"
Still, she had went back to the couch again, albeit after glaring intensely at Harry, who still had had a worried look on his face. He really looked adorable when with that look on his face. It was one of the main reasons she had fallen in love with him.
Of course, being pregnant also had had its downsides sometimes. She had constantly felt sick. Nothing had seemed to change that and she had been getting pretty tired of it. Also, her feet had swollen incredibly. She could hardly walk on them, so Harry had had to carry her sometimes, which had probably left him a hernia.
If it had not been for the end result, she would have lost hope a long time ago. The echoes had given her the strength she had needed. Their doctor had said that it was a very healthy child, and a few months later, when their baby had been born she could see from close how beautiful he truly was.
They had called him Shinnosuke, which sounded like the name of Harry's father. Mitsy liked to call her son Shin-Chan. It suited him more, plus it was much shorter. Shin-Chan had the darkest eyes she had ever seen. His feathery curls were a strong contrast against his pale skin. His rosy cheeks gave him a somewhat angelic face. He was just so beautiful that it had made both Mitzy and Harry cry from happiness.
They could tell already that Shin-Chan was very special. They would have a great future with him. He would go to the best school and steal the heart of many girls. All they had to do was wait for a couple of years so he was old enough to show how sweet he really was.
~ Five years later ~
It was a sunny and peaceful day. It was very quiet in the street where the notorious five-year old Shin-Chan lived, until...
"Shin-chan! Where are you? It's guri-guri time," Misty cried, furiously.
Then, she spotted her son, hiding under the kitchen table. That kid was dead meat...
A/N: Thanks for reading this! =) Hope you've enjoyed it just as much as I enjoyed writing it. ^_^
