True Love?
Summery: Ponyboy has a girlfriend who always tells him that she loves him, but does she really mean it? She has helped him when he thought he wanted to die. Ponyboy is 17 years old and is a senior in high school. Monique (Pony's girlfriend) is 19 years old. Darry and Sodapop really don't like her. She is living with Pony, Darry, and Soda. Soda moved into his old room and Monique is staying in Pony's room.
Chapter 1
Monique and me have been going out for 6 months already. I really think she's the one I am going to spend the rest of my life with. She's beautiful, smart, and loves to watch movies, read books, and jogging or running. Darry and Sodapop don't like her because she cheated on me one time, hey, I've cheated on her as well. All couples have hard times. That was just a knot in the rope. We've moved on from that. Monique is speacil. She always helps me with my work, and she found me a job at a nice restraunt called The Pyramid. We went there for our first date, and I treated my brothers there once. They seemed to like it, even though it was very expensive. The only time Monique and I talk is when we fight, talk about books, or movies, and are really bored. It's starting to get boring, well…most of it. I think I really do love her, but does she love me back? I sometimes wonder if my brothers are right.
