Riku's Quest

Destiny Island Day 1

Yet again it was a beautiful day. Sora, Kairi, and I planned to build a raft and row to other worlds. Today I was working on the raft. I was carring wook when I spotted Sora and Kairi talking.

"And together we can leave this planet." Sora said to Kairi.

"Hey what about me?" I walked right behind the two, and dropeed the wood on Sora.

"I see your as lazy as every Sora."

"So you've noice." Sora just smiled. I sat beside him tired of working all day on the raft. "Hey, Riku, how about a race?" I just looked at him and could see the excitement in his eyes.

"Alright."

Before I could stand Sora yelled "Ready, GO!" and ran way ahead. I jumped up and ran as fast as I could and made it ahead of Sora. I won that race and after rubbing it in Soras face, I waled to my little island that over looked the ocean, I just sta there and watched Sora run around looking for items for the raft. I justed looked out to the ocean and wondered to myself whats out there

"Hey Riku."

"Huh? Oh, Hey Sora."

"Riku what are you looking at?" Sora walked next to me and looked out, just gazing at the ocean.

"Hey Sora, what do you think is out there?"

" I don't know Riku, but one day when we are free of this island we will find out, together."

Kairi came running up and was out of breath.

"Why are you two up here?"
She looked at Sora then at me, as if looking for the answer in our eyes.

"Hey Kairi, what do you think is out there?" I don't know why I asked her, but I wanted to know what to expect when we finaly leave and explore every thing.

"I don't care Riku, I just want to be out there." She smiled as she too looked out to the ocean.

Sora lookeed at Kairi then at me. "Hey Riku, do you think Kairi's home is out there?"

"I really don't know Sora."

I looked out at the sun setting, and so did Sora and Kairi. After a while of looking at the sun set it was time to head back home. As Kairi ran ahead I ran to Sora.

"Hey Sora wait up." He stopped as I approached. "Whats' up?" I tossed him tha palpu fruit.

"You've said that you always wanted one. Maybe you can share it with Kairi."

Sora was speech less. The only this that came out was "Huh...but..." I laughed and ran ahead catch up with Kairi before she left with out us.
