The Childhood of Ichimaru Gin and Matsumoto Rangiku

Note: This is my second one-shot thing at Fanfiction for Bleach. I hope you like this pairing, because I do! Anyway, this flick is based on their 'childhood' which is also it one of the Bleach episodes. So, enjoy!

"Hey, you, you're hungry, right?" asked a little boy, who had short white hair, closed eyes, and wore a never changing happy smile. "Here, eat. I have lots. You fainted from hunger, didn't you? So, accept the food."

"You, did you pass out from hunger too?" asked the little girl, who had short orange hair, soft blue eyes, and looked very malnourished.

"Ya, me too," replied the little boy.

"What's your name?" asked the little girl.

"Ichimaru Gin. Nice to meet you," replied Gin, as he slowly got up, from his sitting position.

"Gin, eh? Weird name, I'm Matsumoto Rangiku," said Rangiku, as she put herself into an upright sitting position.

Gin handed her the food, and accepted it. The two of them sat on the desert like plain, with a soft breeze blowing in.

"Thanks, Gin-kun." Thanked Rangiku, as she looked towards Gin. He turned to her and smiled his same unchanging smile.

"No problem. Everyone shouldn't be left to starve to death."

"Ya, Gin, where do you live anyway?" questioned Rangiku, as she looked towards Gin again.

"Me? Well I live in this small cave place. What about you?"

"I don't live anywhere. I don't have a place to stay……." Rangiku trailed off.

"Then, Rangiku-san, why don't you live with me?" asked Gin thoughtfully.

"Really? I'd love to! But are you sure that it's not too much trouble?" replied Rangiku

"It's not. Here, come and I'll show you where I live." Gin offered

Soon, the two of them arrived at Gin's home. It was just as Gin had described. It's was indeed a cave. Inside it was very large.

"Rangiku-san, you can sleep here," directed Gin, as he led Rangiku to her sleeping area.

"Oh, thank you so much, Gin-kun," said Rangiku

Later that night, when Rangiku had fallen asleep, Gin crept over to check up on his new friend. Gin noticed that she was slightly quivering. So, he took off his jacket and draped it gently over Rangiku. Then Gin slowly left his new friend.

When it was early in the morning, Rangiku awoke. She was surprised to find that Gin's jacket had been draped over her. Then she looked around the large cave.

"Good morning, Rangiku-san," smiled Gin, as he crouched over her. "Is anything the matter?"

"No, nothing, but, um…why was your jacket draped over me yesterday night?" questioned Rangiku

"Well, I saw you kind of shivering yesterday. So, I decided to give you my jacket to keep you warm, for the night," explained Gin

"Awe, thanks Gin-kun; your so sweet," replied Rangiku, as she walked over to Gin, and held him in an embrace. Gin, blushed, but he didn't care. He held close to Matsumoto Rangiku, his one true friend, and love.

THE END

Note: This is one of those awkward couples in Bleach. Because, SPOILER Gin, leaves Rangiku, in one episode. It's so sad. But I still love this pair! And Hitsugaya Toushirou X Hinamori Momo!
