Espeon's
Adventure!
"Yawn…Ah, I love an excellent awakening. The sun on my fur, my trainer quite happy…and my bro here happy as well…perfect." Espeon stirred and smiled as he looked at his brother, Umbreon, and then at his trainer, Jacob. The sun on his fur and a smile on his brother's face, and that's all he needed. His brother was happy because Jacob had recently taken him for a trip to the park, and Jacob was happy because he had recently left the house, alone. He said he was going to a 'special friend's' house, but Espeon used his psychic powers to find out what was going on through his head. Jacob was responsible, kind, intelligent, loyal, and a good friend, and eighteen. Espeon knew that these qualities steered his life, and what was going to go down was definitely important and a result of these qualities. Espeon decided to keep it a secret. Let's just say that Espeon and Jacob had to talk delicately on the subject. He was curious on why he was home so soon though. Either way, Jacob was happy, so Espeon was happy. On their trip to the park, Umbreon had gotten to race Jacob. Jacob ran cross country, so he had enough skill to make the race a tie. They then went swimming. Umbreon enjoyed himself. Espeon then got up and whipped his brother with tail gently. He pawed up to Jacob's face and licked it. He didn't wake up, so he moved him with Psychic back and forth. He stirred and woke up. It was 7:00A.M. What do you know? Jacob's delivery was here! A truck was pulling down the driveway, and it was a good thing Arcanine, Absol, Mightyena, Houndoom, and Suicune were all asleep. They would bark so loud that they would scare away the P.U.P.S. guy. (Pokemon United Postal Service, not puppies.)
"Oh, shit, he's here! Thanks for waking me up Espeon!" Jacob shouted as he ran out to greet the delivery man. Good thing he sleeps in his clothes sometimes. Espeon thought.
"…Thanks."
"Thank you. Not to be invasive, but how can you afford this telescope?"
"Oh, no you're not being invasive. I get it with funding. I'm Head Astronomer for the Observatory at the University of Michigan in the Orre Region.
"Oh, excellent. Have a nice day!"
"Thank you, bye! Alright boys, you two and I are going to be looking at Jupiter tonight! Maybe we'll get to look at Saturn's rings and Ganymede! Umbreon didn't share the love of studying astronomy, but he did love looking outside at night, especially the moon. Espeon however, like Jacob, jumped at the chance to do anything astronomy related.
"Oh boy! Jupiter, Saturn, and Ganymede? I'm gonna have fun tonight, aren't I?"
"Espeon, don't phrase it like that. You know it's wrong and disgusting, I watched those episodes of The Big Bang Theory with you, remember?"
"Oh yeah! Can we watch the episode where Leonard and Penny take off-"
"No."
