Max Steel is by Mattel.
"You're a dead man, McGrath!"
That was the yell that caused a few students to look to the double doors of Copper Canyon High. They saw Maxwell McGrath (or just "Max" for short) running from the school bully and his posse. He quickly flipped over a student tying his shoelace before hitting a fork in the hallway. He ran right and went into a science classroom, the bullies following behind.
The lead bully finally caught up with him, glaring daggers at him. Realizing that there was nowhere to run or hide, Max removed his backpack and took on a fighting stance.
Before their fight could even begin, the flames from the school's Bunsen burners suddenly surged to a corona, making the bullies back away. Max turned behind him to find a Fire Elementor emerging from the flames. The bullies made a run for it. The teacher had a look on his face that read "this wasn't part of the lesson".
"Class dismissed!" Max said, making a break for it. The other students and teacher decided it would be a good idea to run as well.
He finally made it out the door and near the outdoor activities section of the school. "Steel! Wake up!" Max called out.
Reacting to his voice command, the robot known as "Steel" suddenly woke up from sleep mode in his book bag.
Spotting a crowd of students evacuating the school, he made a turn and leaped out of the way over to the outdoor lap pool, where a Water Elementor emerged from the depths of the pool. He made it past the pool and grabbed a skateboard before leaping out of the area, the Water Elementor trying to strike him, but nearly missed.
"A little help here, Steel," he said while he rolled out of the area and to the school's entrance.
"On my way, Max!" Steel affirmed before zooming out of an open slot in the bag and out of an open window of the now empty classroom.
While skating, he passed by Sydney, the girl of his dreams, along with some of her friends. Everything seemed to go in slow motion while they smiled at each other.
He was brought back down to Earth when he saw that he was nearly going to crash into a truck. He quickly jumped off the side of it and took off, an Earth Elementor hot on his tail.
He eventually made his way to the school's football field. "Now would be a good time, Steel!" he noted, sensing that the TURBO energy within him was starting to burst out from the adrenaline he was experiencing.
Steel eventually found him and began to descend. "Comin' in hot!" Steel called out from above him.
"'Bout time, dude!" Max said before jumping.
Before the two could merge, however, a red laser struck the two, separating them for a bit longer. Max sat up and looked to find a familiar figure clad in dark red and black armor descending down: Miles Dredd.
"Max," Dredd began while Max stood up. "I've been waiting for you."
He stopped panting and turned to his partner. "Steel?" he asked.
"I'm good," Steel told him, picking himself up and dusting himself off. "I'm good."
He shook off the dirt that collected in his system. The two stared down their foes and rolled up their sleeves.
"Shall we?" Steel asked.
Max nodded. "Let's go TURBO!" he shouted.
The two jumped and merged together, light blue TURBO energy surrounding them both. Dredd and the Elementors charged for him, but were pushed back by a blast of the energy resulting from a transformation. Max's casual clothes were replaced by a white jumpsuit with black and light blue details. A helmet of a similar color scheme formed around his head.
The two fought hard against the Elementors before charging for Dredd. Dredd and Max charged for one another, assuming the strength mode of their suits...
