"SEBASTIAN!"
The manor just wouldn't be the same without the young lord's wails echoing. Sebastian appears through the door, hand over heart, the same courteous smile he was forced to keep in place where it should be.
His eyes fall on the small boy, very much a child at this point. A frown creased the porcelain face, accompanied by that well known pout. His arms were crossed as he lounged regally in his guiled office chair. It was obvious to Sebastian, from the sight of the many documents spread out on the large oak table, that his master had reached his capacity to focus on the dull responsibility of his title.
"Yes, my Lord?" Sebastian queried in reply, though he could predict the answer that was to come.
"This paperwork bores me-I refuse to look at another single page", with this he raised himself, and walked around the table, "until I have left this stuffy room."
Sebastian slightly twitched his eyebrow higher, yet bowed regardless. It was his duty as a butler to follow orders. And he was one hell of a butler.
"As you wish young master. What is it you wish to do?"
The boys one exposed eye, wide and dark, focused on the butler in front of him. Every time Sebastian glimpsed the eye of his master, he remembers the Ciel that once was. The sapphire eye which sparkled like a deep sea against the pale shore. Now that sea has been stained red, and what stared out of the boy was now a terrifying beauty.
Ciel's mouth twitched into a smirk, which could only be described as, well- devilish. He titled his head to the side, causing the darkness which played through his hair to shift slightly.
"How about we go and see if we can't find a poor sucker to eat?"
A darkness well known to Sebastian seemed to materialise and swirl around the small body, brimming with fresh power; a fresh sense for the hunt. This excited him. His own lips curled into a smirk, eyes flashing red to match his Master's.
Ciel hadn't felt the need to forge a contract with someone for a long time, being able to still sustain himself on small amounts of human food. But every now and then, such as today, he could not shun the new side of him. The darkness in which he had dealt with since returning, would wind about his body like vines, choking him until he was forced to wander the streets for those desperate enough to reach out to a demon. Of course he was never too far from the watchful eye of his butler, forever entrusted to ensure his safety, but it was still uncomfortable for Ciel to knowingly take someone's life.
Then why was his body tingling? Why was his blood audibly rushing through his veins, burning with adrenaline? His cheeks were flushed by this blood, and his smirk touched his eyes in a way many of his smiles never could. He was excited. He could sense that Sebastian was too, and this made his blood burn even more. He was ready to lure in his prey.
