Everything was well after that day. The day they sealed Ganondorf away into the sacred realm. Though deep inside he was not beaten and he was not alone. A new evil was lurking deep inside Hyrule and this time it was much worse... No one ever suspected what was coming... It was the beginning of the end...
Zelda stood in Hyrule castle as normal. Link was on a horse ride, the chef was off duty for the day, and Impa died not to long ago. Everything was normal but yet she felt a dark presence lurking.
"It's probably because Impa died," Zelda thought sadly, remembering her treasured nursemaid.
Impa had been like the mother Zelda never met. She was her nursemaid and her best friend before Link had ever come along. But now that she was dead, Zelda was to become queen soon.
Zelda walked down the hallway only to bump into Link.
"Oh hi! How was your horse ride?" the young princess asked.
"Fine. Epona's doing great and the weather was beautiful," the hero replied with a slight grin.
The two lovers had been dating for quite a while now so they knew each other
pretty well.
"Is everything o.k.?" Link asked Zelda concerned.
She lowered her head in defeat. "I don't know what, but I feel like whenever we sealed Ganondorf away that he wasn't the only evil around," She said softly.
"You're probably just feeling bad because Impa died," he replied
"Because I don't remember seeing, feeling, or hearing anything besides ganondorf and you."
"You're probably right. But just in case we better be on the lookout," She warned.
"You bet I will! It's getting late you better head to bed," he insisted.
"All right but only if you promise to do the same," she said back with a smile.
The two lovebirds kissed and headed to their rooms. But little did they know
they weren't alone. They were being watched from the eternal shadows of the night...
