Taichi ran to his computer to check his e-mail, he did that as often as he could since the person who would be mailing him was Mimi, the woman he loved more than anything. She had moved to the US four years ago and stayed and touch with Taichi since they were madly in love before Mimi had to move because of her father's job.
Taichi was so happy when he had received an e-mail from her.
Hey Taichi.
This is very hard for me to say, but I've found someone new, actually I was always with him, I was with him two years ago and was never able to tell you, but I've decided now was the time to tell you, I'm sorry. But it has to be like this.
It was great how it lasted so long, but I had to move on and I did, sorry I didn't tell you sooner. And I'm very sorry how I said that I loved you for two years even though I didn't mean it.

Taichi stared at the e-mail as his heart broke when read it. How could she do this to me?!?!?!?!?! Taichi started to cry. All those years of her sweet words…were all just lie. And I can't believe she wants me to keep in touch! Why would I even want to talk to her after this?!?!? Taichi then blocked off Mimi's e-mail address. I don't ever want to hear from her again, ever.
Taichi was filled with anger and sadness. He kicked his computer, but that didn't help him at all.
He had always planned to spend the rest of his life with Mimi, and only thought her being his true love and the only one who would love him and he'd love her back.
Then Taichi remembered something from five years ago.

Sora ran up to Taichi, "hey, can I talk to you?"
"Yeah, sure."
"Taichi, this is really hard for me to say, but ever since we were in the Digiworld, I loved you."
"You did?"
"Yeah."
"Oh, cool."
"So, do you wanna go see a movie or something tomorrow?"
"Definitely."
"Okay, see ya tomorrow!" Sora kissed him on the cheek.

"I've got to find Sora," Taichi said to himself. 'But would she ever forgive me for what I did?'
