Summary – TOTALLY AU. Captain House and his crew must go on an adventure to rescue maiden Lisa Cuddy. But the journey to get Cuddy back isn't smooth. Along the way they go threw trials and escape hostile enemies, all the while the captain must confront his feelings for the missing maiden.
Author's Notes – I've been thinking about writing this for a while now. The first chapter is VERY short, but I've planned longer ones. Reviews are always appreciated. :)
Captain Greg House stood at the prow of his ship. The morning fog was beginning to lift, exposing the burgeoning waters below. The long night of rough sailing had taken its toll, as evidenced by the dark circles forming under his eyes.
"I trust you've been here all night." Lieutenant Wilson joined him. The weary captain nodded silently. His lieutenant held a comforting hand on his shoulder. "We're going to get her back."
"Aye." He agreed, scratching at the scruff on his chin as he thought. Her horrible expression of terror was etched into his memory. When they took her she really struggled. She was a fighter, that's why he loved her. Anger for the men that took her away in the middle of that cold night pulsed threw his crippled body. The lieutenant walked away from his captain. He understood that he needed his time to brood.
