Author's Note: This story will talk an average amount about religion, namely Judaism and Baha'i, because the two main characters follow these religions. I think there's a serious lack of religious characters (and religious diversity) in Doctor Who, which means we miss out on some really interesting character interactions! The main character, Eliana, is also non-binary and uses all pronouns (but mostly she/they), and both siblings are gay. So if any of these things bother you, then I wouldn't recommend reading this story.
This is also just an introduction to the characters for you to enjoy while I work on the first chapter.

Eliana frowned upon hearing their sister turn over in bed for the fifth time in the last minute. They tilted their head to the side and squinted in Shoshanna's direction, barely able to make out the lines of her face in the darkness.
"You okay?" Eliana whispered.
There was a moment of silence before Shoshanna replied. "It's that stupid dream again," she sighed. "I can't stay asleep."
A line of blue light shone through the blinds onto the floor, blinked, and then disappeared; another security sweep. Eliana propped themself up on their elbows and tried to focus on their sister's face. "You took your meds, though, didn't you?"
"Yeah." Shoshanna's answer was honest, but something in her voice made Eliana wary.
"But?"
"But nothing."
Eliana shook their head. "No."
Shoshanna sighed heavily and turned onto her back, her hands clasped lightly atop her stomach. She thought quietly for a few moments, some of the longest moments in Eliana's life. "I don't think the meds can help, El. I think these dreams are more than just insomnia… It's like they mean something, something more."
"Tell me what happened," Eliana prompted as they settled onto their back again. "Was it different this time?"
"Mm." The blankets rustled as Shoshanna readjusted herself, copying her sibling's position. "We were back on Earth, but it was different. It wasn't modern times, it was sometime before that. The Woman was there with her friends and we were there, too. And we met this woman, Rosa." Shoshanna's breathing was soft and whispered as she continued. "I think there were aliens, too, which is weird considering it felt like the 1940's."
Eventually, Shoshanna's explanation switched to barely conscious ramblings. Eliana stifled a yawn as their sister finally drifted off to sleep. They directed a silent prayer to God before sleep could overwhelm them, too, asking for protection and guidance throughout the coming days and thanked Him again for the blessing snoring on the other side of the room. Then they turned onto their side, drew their knees to their stomach, and let sleep finally take them.
