AN: Okay this story just popped into my head. First Rent story so be nice. I own nothing! R&R! Singing is in bold.
"Hey, open up! Freezing people out here!" the voice of Tom Collins rang out. Mark got up from the table where he and Roger had been eating a breakfast of stale cereal and coffee and went out onto the balcony. In the street below, there stood Collins and Angel. Mark threw down the key with a smile and retreated into the loft. A few minutes later and the door of the loft slid open.
"Hola! It's nice to see you guys!" Angel exclaimed.
"It's great to see you, too. It's been centuries!" Mark replied.
"More like five months, Mark. Math really never was your best subject." Roger said, sitting at the table and sipping the mug of coffee in his hand.
"And how have you been, man? We leave and you and Mimi are so sappy and in love it's ridiculous. We come back and you're not together anymore! What's up?" Collins asked.
"She met someone else. An actor from LA. Name's Blake." Roger replied, noncommitally.
"You seeing anyone, Honey?" Angel asked.
"Nah." Roger answered. Collins and Angel exchange glances. Collins clears his throat. Angel turns to Mark.
"Mark, I need your help! I need some things filmed. Can you do it?" Angel begged.
"Sure. I didn't have anything else planned." Mark said, grabbing his camera and following Angel out the door. Roger and Collins were left alone in the apartment.
"So, have you told him yet?" Collins asked taking a seat at the table.
"Tell who what?" Roger said, glancing up from the paper he'd been reading.
"Tell Mark that you're bi." Collins replied.
"No, why should I?" Roger asked, avoiding looking Collins in the eyes.
"'Cause he came out six months ago and I know he loves you. I also know that you love him." Collins answered.
"I-I...I'll tell him tonight when everyone's here." Roger said at last.
Later that night a full blown boho party was taking place in the loft. Maureen and Joanne were there as well as Collins and Angel and Mimi and Blake. Of course Mark and Roger, the hosts, were there. Roger grabbed Mark and pulled him aside.
"M-Mark," Roger began in shaking voice. Mark was immeadiately concerned.
"Roger, what is it?" Mark asked.
"I should tell you, I should tell you that I'm not who you think I am."-Roger
"I should tell you, I should tell you that I don't understand."-Mark
"I should tell you, I should tell you that I'm not straight, I'm bi."-Roger
"I should tell you, I should tell you that I still think you're a great guy."-Mark
"I should tell you, I should tell you that I love you."-Roger
"Roger, do you mean that?" Mark asked. The entire room had gone quiet.
"Yes." Roger replied, eyeing him nervously.
"I love you, too." Mark said. Roger raced forward and embraced him. He pulled him in for a kiss and the whole room applauded.
