"How are you even for real?" Dean just shook his head while chuckling about his boyfriend who just ate his second burger. He had finished his first in like, what? Three bits? Dean just chewed his second bite and grinned at Cas' innocent eyes.

"Sorry, I was hungry", he muttered shyly, causing Dean to smile bright. He always had adored the way Cas was.

Well, maybe not from the very beginning, because when he and his brother Sammy had their first day in their current school, Cas had to guide the two of them. And while Sam was open and nice, his big brother was the complete opposite. Tried to play cool as if he didn't care. Even insulted Cas' trench coat. And maybe really didn't care in that moment. Because he knew they would be leaving soon. Well, he thought they would. So he was an assbutt to Cas. Cas words, not his. But said boy knew that Dean just was afraid. He knew that something was up with him. And he wanted to be the one to find out and wipe that grumpy expression from his face.

And one day, Dean had no problem anymore with Cas sitting next to him in most lessons and while eating meal with Sammy. He finally let his walls down. They talked. And were the best friends ever since. He even got his father to let them stay. Wherever they were, he wasn't with them. So it would be the same if they would stay.

"How about we getting started? The test is already tomorrow!" Cas said. A groan came from Dean's direction as an answer. He hated Math. Cas loved it of course. Sometimes he couldn't understand how they managed to stay together. But then, he looked again into his bright blue eyes and his curled up and formed into a smile. He loved every tiny bit about him. He loved his smile. That smile that even reached his eyes when he looked at him. His soft, dark hair. Hell, he even loved this dirty trench coat which he had made fun of in the beginning. Dean admired his intelligence. And he found it adorable that Cas knew so little about pop culture.

Cas had just turned around to grab his book when he felt two arms wrap around his waist, pulling him back onto the bed. He grinned and decided that he should try later to make Dean study. He knew better than anyone that his lazy-ass-boyfriend would rather listen to mainstreet pop than doing anything for his least favorite subject.

The raven haired boy turned around in Dean's arms and chuckled. He gently caressed Dean's cheek and fondled through his hair.

Math could wait. They had more important things to do right now.
