Full title inside. This is the recording of an early speech of President John Henry Eden that was supposedly broadcasted on the Enclave Radio before the events of Fallout 3, when the player hears the Enclave radio for the first time.

(I do not own any characters in Fallout 3, especially NOT John Henry Eden. This is my first Fan Fiction, which isn't really a story. Hope you enjoy it!)

We are the salvation of our nation.

A once-great nation reduced to ashes by nuclear war, a nation plagued by savage mutants and many other horrible monstrosities, a nation filled with many poor souls longing for the peaceful lives they once lived in the past, now suffering in a world where even clean drinking water, once as common as dust in the wind, is a luxury. This is the cruel world we Americans face today. The peaceful, carefree lives we used to live in the once-great USA, burnt to ashes, like the many great cities and states of our country during the Great War.

These problems are what stand before us, numerous and difficult, yet will do everything in our power to resolve them, and make them vanish. More than that, Dear America, we will restore this nation to its former glory. Never again will my fellow countrymen live in fear as long as we are still in your government.

We will do all of this in the name of this great nation, my fellow Americans. We will do all of this in the name of our forefathers, who sacrificed their lives to build and shape this nation as we will today. We will do this in the name of all of you, My Dear Americans, who deserve lives without all the pain and suffering all around.

We will do all that is required to complete it, but only if you believe in us. Believe in your government.

Believe in the Enclave.

Until we meet again, this is your president, John Henry Eden, fighting for your freedom, for your lives, and for your country.
