Sweet Surrender
By Amanda "Munkey" Nolder
Alone.
Was I meant to be alone?
Forever?
Always alone? He didn't love me, Ever?
Her long chocolate hair blew in the breeze of Nimbelheim, her ruby eyes rested on the sky. The stars they seemed to shine even more so brightly when she was around. No he couldn't tell her how he felt, they came from two different worlds. She deserved someone who was from her world.
She felt his eyes on her, she knew that he stood there watching her every move, her every breath, and her every sigh he heard. She wanted to turn and face him but she knew tat he'd leave. Like always he'd disappear into the dark alley or just fade away. She wanted to speak softly to him to tell him her feelings to confess her love to a man from another world than hers. He wasn't like the outer men she knew, she felt safe with him around, odd yet safe.
She was an Angel, but he couldn't find her wings. She was earth's angel, he wanted her to be HIS angel. His everything was what she was. If it wouldn't for her the sky's would be dull and gray, with out her the would be dark and cold, there would be no love, no life, it would all be meaning less.
She could fell the wind pick up and she hugged herself to try and keep warm. She finally sighed "You can come out now. It's lonely out here isn't it? Yet it's so peaceful." her sweet voice called to him as he walked out of the shadows to her. He stood next to her as she looked up at him and smiled.
He nodded "You know you can talk to me about anything you want." she said as she sat down and patted the ground next to her. He sat down as she pulled her knees up to her chest. "When I was a child I'd come out here and sit all night. But things were different back then, it wasn't so cold or lonely." She said as he took off his jacket and rested it on her shoulders. It smelled like smoke but she pulled it closed over her as she rested her head on his shoulder.
His blue eyes met her as e gently placed his lips against her. Her lips were as soft as silk and her arms wrapped them selves around him. He was older than her it felt so wrong yet in it's own way right. They broke the kiss as he moved some of her hair from her face. "I love you Tifa." he whispered in her ear.
His warm breath brushed against her ear whispering those three words that made her heart melt. She smiled at the thought of the words as she felt his lips press against her neck. She moved so he got to the soft spot on her neck. She was showing him her weakness, her weakens was him and him alone. His mess of blond hair, his blue eyes, his every perfection and imperfection was what she loved about him. She whipped "I love you Cid Highwind." between breaths.
Authors Note Do NOT ask me were I got the idea for this. It just popped into my head like all the outer morbid things that do. I don't own Final fantasy, Squarsoft dose Ect... and more.
