Champagne Challenge #134: "Resolution" Drabble - 36 hrs only This was written for 36-hour challenge. The challenge is to write a resolution - like one might make for the New Year - in the form of a drabble. (A drabble is a short piece of prose that is exactly 100 words in length.)

2009's Resolutions

At my age I ought to be looking at 401K's, life insurance and perhaps buying that cozy beach bungalow that Marissa' Realtor boyfriend was trying to unload for a song.

But because of him. . . .

I'm stepping into 2009 yearning for Mick to get over ever-present angst and entertain a dialogue about all he means to me.

I'm longing for my "liquid" diet to rest next to Mick's, hidden behind the glass collection.

I've celebrated by last flipping Birthday!

I wouldn't want Mick to date an older woman; it certainly didn't work out for him the last time.
