Random bit. I've been doing that a lot lately. Anyway, this bits about Storm and Logan. It's short. I don't own these characters. Spoilers! Following X3. REVIEW!

Pick a side. Good or bad. It wasn't that difficult.

Naturally, Storm wanted him to pick the X-Men, to pick her. She wanted him to choose her over Jean, but he never would. He was in love with her, and she had to except it.

But sometimes, it was too much. He put his heart to deep into things, into her, into Jean, and she was breaking it, by choosing Magneto over him. Storm didn't know why. Freedom over love didn't seem like the right figure.

Love should always win, it should always prevail. But that wasn't how the world worked. Storm had loved Jean, as a dear friend, and she had been taken away and replaced with a selfish monster. She'd loved the professor as a father, a mentor, and he'd been taken too. And she loved Logan, oh how she loved him, but he wouldn't love her back.

The world never worked that way. It was never so easy.

But she still wished he'd pick her. Pick good. Pick love.
