"Kendall? Kendall...we're here. You have to help me with you're bags." I hear Charlie say, while he gently shakes me awake.

"Hunh? What...oh, okay sorry Charlie. I fell asleep." I saw as i get out of the car. Owwwww! Back pain. Stupid scoliosis. As i look around I realized Forks is just as I remember: dingy, rainy, and cold. I open the door to Charlie's place. His house is also just as i remember. It's always been cheerful and homey, and it smells like something yummy.

"Kendall! Where have you been?" Bella came out and gave me a hug.

"I'll go put you're bags upstairs." Charlie says and walks up the stairs.

"Thank you!" I call up to him.

"Bella! I've missed you like hell! I thought you lived in Phoenix!" Last time I checked, I thought Bella lived with Renee.

"I did. But I moved in with my dad. She married and minor league baseball player and they travel alot, soooo...I just figured i'd come here. But anyways, I haven't seen you in forever where did you go?"

"Well, I've been alot of places...foster homes never kept me long! Haha." Shit. I hate talking about my life.

"What happened to you're mom!" She looked really distressed.

"Ahhh...Just, uhm, go ask Charlie explain to you. I'm gonna go unpack." Thank God for an excuse to avoid this conversation.

"Okay..." Bella was obviously confused. She'd understand why I didn't like to talk about it once she found out.

I got up to my room, and looked around. It didn't look like a guest bedroom. Some of Bella's pictures were hanging on the wall.

"Hey Kendall. You're going to use Bella's room because, well, she doesn't live here anymore." Charlie said. Huh?

"Why? I can't imagine her doing anything bad enough to get kicked out." I asked.

"She's getting married. To a boy in town named Edward Cullen. Right now she's living at their place."

OH MY GOD! "Seriously! I'm so happy for her!" I said.

"Thanks." Bella said as she came around the corner.

"I have to meet the guy!"

"Okay...i'm going back to the Cullen's in a bit. I'll take you." Bella said.

"I'll unpack really quick then we can go." Bella nodded a yes, and then went downstairs.

I hurriedly unpacked all my shit, so we could go. I couldn't wait to see Bella's man. After what seemed like forever, i was finally done unpacking. As if on cue, Bella came upstairs.

"Ready?"

"Yup. I cannot WAIT to see you're boytoy!" I said to Bella and nudged her. She shot me a look of a combination of amusement and embarrassment and blushed. We went outside and got in her truck.

"THIS is what you drive, Bella?" I asked. What the hell was she thinking. The thing was from the stone age. However, it had a futuristic looking radio. "And how is the radio so nice while the rest of the truck is a rustbucket?"

"Hey don't hate my truck!" She said and laughed. "The radio is courtesy of Emmett. That's Edward's brother. He hates my truck as well."

"Well I don't blame him."

"Oh! There's the Cullen house." The house I saw before me was amazing. It looked open, fresh, and expensive. What was a nice house like this doing out in the forest boonies? I got out of the truck and followed Bella to their door. A hot guy with mysterious yellow eyes was waiting for her.

"Hello, Bella." he said to her in a calm and cool voice. She waved at him. Maybe this was the Emmett guy she was talking about. I hoped he might be single, until they shared a quick kiss. This must be Edward!

"Wow, Bella, you have found a keeper!" I told her.
