So this is a one-shot of pointless pre-mondler. I hope you like it
"Dad, how did you meet mom?" Chandler's ten year old son Zack ask handing him a screw driver. They were out in the garage fixing the brakes on Monica's car.
Chandler smiled "At a concert." He said simply, taking the tool from his son.
"I know that, but how?" He asked again
"Okay, well you see, I went to this concert with your uncle Joey. It was loud and very crowded, like shoulder to shoulder people..."
*The year 1998*
Chandler was at the bar getting drinks for him and Joey. "Two beers." He yelled over all the fans holding up two fingers.
The bartender nodded. Chandler turned around in his stool and watched as the Swing King's played another song. Bobbing his head to the music. "Up." The bartender said as he pealed the beers cap's off the bottle and handing them to Chandler. He took them and thanked the man then he saw Joey coming his way. And of course, with a girl.
"Hey man thanks." Joey said taking the beer from him. He took a drink before saying "This is Melissa." He yelled
"Hey." Chandler gave her an upward nod
"We're going to leave, I'll catch you later." He said then left.
Chandler wasn't too surprised by Joey's sudden action. He watched him walk away then turned back to the band. "Real friend you got there." Chandler looked to his right to the girl sitting next to him.
"Yeah, he's alright." Chandler said. She was the most gorgeous woman he ever saw. She had long jet black hair, she wasn't looking directly at him though, she was watching the band while drinking her beer.
She turned her attention back to him and gave him a friendly smile. A slow song came on. Chandler extended his "Would you like to dance?" He asked.
She looked into his deep blue eyes "I would love to." She said putting her beer down and taking his hand.
When they reached the dance floor he brought her in close to him she wrapped her arms around his neck "So who exactly am I dancing with?" She asked
He smiled at her "Chandler."
"You're not too bad of a dancer Chandler." She said
"Thanks, you're pretty good yourself..."
Smiling, she replied "Monica."
"Monica." He repeated.
"Boy's dinner's about ready." Monica said from the doorway of the garage while balancing a one year old Charlotte on her hip. "And wash your hands." She said looked at their greasy hands. Then she left.
Zach turned back towards Chandler "Then what happened?" He asked.
Chandler's eyes never left the area where Monica was just at. "I married her."
