AN: this is my first teen fan fic.
It was bones fourth foster care house after her parents and brother left her. She has been abused cut smacked kick punched and so on. This is the first day at her fourth foster care house. She was awoken by an agonizing pain in her chest. She bit her lip to stop from screaming out. When she looked up she saw he foster dad standing there smirking. "what was that for?" she almost whispered he leaned down to her ear and whispered "I don't like waiting for break feast you bitch." Then he walked out of the room to let her get dressed. When she went to change her shirt she saw the mark on her stomach witch well soon be a bruise "ugh that's going to hurt for a while." She says to herself.
When she was done getting ready she headed down stars to find dan sitting at the kitchen table with a plate in front of him. "about time you got down here now get cooking woman!" he yelled not moving a muscle. She picked up her stuff and headed towards the door and said "cook it yourself I have to get to school." Dan stood up walked in front of her and stood there for a second then smacked her and she fell to the floor. He picked her up by her up by her neck and yelled in her face "you will do what I say when I tell you to do it or your face will look a little different then your body every day!" she couldn't help it but she started laughing so he hit her in her jaw and she fell to the floor unconscious and bleeding.
When she woke up she was still on the kitchen floor in a pool of her own blood. So she got up and cleaned up the blood. She went up stars to take a shower when she got out of the shower and into her room, she shut the door when she turned around she got hit in the in the ribs. She clutched them in pain she got hit again. She laid down and waited for it to end she got more kicks in the side then he left. The pain was unbearable for her so she cried herself to sleep.
The next morning she did as she was told because she didn't want any more bruises. When she got to school she walked down the hall towards the office to get her locker number. When she got to her locker she opened it when she was about to put her books away some guys knocked them door and said "watch where your going freak." And walked away laughing. She picked up her books and went to lunch when she sat down. Some of the guys that knocked her books came down by her table with more of there friends when they all got to her table one guy said "what are you doing at are school you foster care freak?" she looked down and another one said "so what your parents left you now you have to come here and annoy us with you stupid stories about it." They all laughed until one guy said "leave her alone." They all looked at the guy even her and they said "fine we'll leave later freak" they all walked away laughing booth shook his head then looked back at bones he sat down across from her before he could say something she said "you didn't have to do that but thank you." He was watching her the whole time as she breathed in she looked like she was in pain but didn't want to ask her about it because he hardly knew her but he was going to keep a eye on her so he said "no problem." The bell rang shortly after. After she got her stuff out of her locker she started walking home but stopped by booth when he said "hey I never got your name." she turned around and said "I never got yours ether." He looked at her for a second then said "it's sleey booth everyone just calls me booth." She nodded and decided to say "ah mine is temperance brennan everyone calls me brennan" he nodded and then commented on her name and said "can I call you bren until I think of a nickname?" she replied in a heartbeat saying "yeah." They both stood there for a second then she turned and started to walk away.
