Shino was a peculiar person. He hardly ever even spoke a full sentence, but he doesn't need to talk. He has an entire world full of others talking to watch. It's like television, but real life. His favorite show to date is the story between two fellow Konoha ninjas.
Just like everybody else, Shino is a critic and he has his own opinions about things. Shino liked the darkness. It was a ninja's best friend. Normally, you would run from the mysterious darkness, but there's just that tiny feeling of curiosity tugging at the back of your mind. So you wonder towards the darkness, but when you get there, you wish you'd followed your instincts and fled.
But wherever there is darkness, there is light. Darkness cannot exist without light and vice-versa. The situation with light is the complete opposite and not at the same time. When you see light, the first thing you think is to run towards it. Light has warmth and is comforting at the same time. Even so, the warmth is like a blanket and protects you. It is a powerful thing and occasionally even feared. Yeah, sure the light protects you and etc., but you will always have another tiny feeling at the back of your mind called doubt. The light is powerful against your enemies, but what if it was turned against you. What is hiding behind such a thing for good that is powerful as the darkness? Darkness of course Hiding behind that light is that darkness that it is protecting you from. Darkness is like a black hole and consumes everything. But as I've said before, wherever this is darkness there is light.
As Shino figures you can keep your light, but as they say. You should never have too much of a good thing.
