Because I needed to write a background story for Everest and I've always wodnered who her parents were and what happened to them. So this came to me. Read, review and enjoy!
Everest smiled brightly as she walked through adventure bay's grocery store to get some groceries for Jake. She was currently on her way to get carrots, when something caught her attention. There was a stand that was owned by what looked to be a dog? It was a dog Everest had never seen before. Much bigger than a husky, but with a grey coat.
Going over to the stand, Everest saw the 'dog' was selling meats and giving out samples. "Hi there! I'm Everest," The husky greeted, going up to the stand. "I'm Bloodbone..." Answered the 'dog' "BloodBone, huh? That's a name I've never heard of before nonetheless I'm glad to meet you!" Everest barked.
"It's nice to meet you too..." Bloodbone replied. He smiled gently at the pup, who smiled back. "Say what kind of dog are you? I've never seen a dog that was so... big before," Everest said.
"Oh... I'm no dog... I'm a wolf," Bloodbone responded nervously.
"You are!? That's so cool!" Everest barked. "Thanks... You- You uh... Don't happen to know-" However Bloodbone was cut off when two humans came up to the stand. "May we have samples please?" Asked the lady who was standing next to a man. "Of course here you go," Bloodbone nodded, giving each human a piece of the homemade ham he had made.
When the humans walked away Everest spoke up again. "So what were you asking me?"
"You don't know who I am do you?..." Bloodbone asked, as he gulped. "No..." Everest replied. "I don't,"
"I was afraid of that..." Bloodbone sighed. "Everest... I'm not just any wolf... I'm your mother's father..." Bloodbone admitted.
