This just popped in
This just popped in. It's based on a song Cannibals by Mark Knopfler, It's a very good "swing song" you really have to watch it!
The character belongs to (almost crying) to DPB and Cannibals belongs to Mark Knopfler (little normal since I can't play guitar and certainly not that good :D)
And since I'm pro Kibbs well ……. It's gonna be Kibbs :D
Cannibals
"Daddy Daddy, is that a dinosaur?" A little boy with blue eyes yelled running to his silver haired man.
"No, that's a giraffe silly!" The silver haired man said while picking him up.
"Can I have a dinosaur?"
"We'll see what mommy says!"
"Jethro, Christopher where're you?" A young brown haired woman yelled.
"Kate over here!" The silver haired man answered.
"I was worried you 2 disappeared!"
"Sorry mommy! Can I have a dinosaur?"
"What?"
"Daddy says that's not a dinosaur! He says it's a hiraff."
"It's a giraffe, sweetie!"
"Ooooh!" the little boy said putting his hand in front of his mouth.
Gibbs and Kate started to laugh.
"Are you laughing with me?" Christopher said.
"Of course not! So what's next?" Kate said.
"Excuse me are you Gunnery Sergeant Gibbs?" a man asked.
"Used to be, who's asking."
"Staff Sergeant Adams, sir!" The men answered.
"Now can I forget you Staff Sergeant! How are you?"
"Good good, and you I heard what happened to your family."
"Yeah, well this is my wife Caitlin and this is my son Christopher."
"Ma'am." He said reaching his hand.
"Sir." She said shaking his hand
"Hi, I'm Christopher." The young boy said reaching his small hand.
"Hi Christopher, I'm Micky Adams." Shaking his hand.
" Can I go to mommy, daddy?"
"Sure, Kate?" he said handing over Christopher.
"Want to see the lions?" Kate asked Christopher.
"Yay." The toddler said.
"Jethro we'll be over there okay."
"Sure, Kate!" Gibbs said with a smile and started talking.
"Mommy who's that?"
"That's someone who's served with daddy when he was a marine."
"Is he a goodie or a baddie?"
"I think he's a goodie. Son."
"Mommy can I be a warrior?"
"Maybe someday you will." She said with a smile.
A few hours later they went home, Christopher very happy with his dinosaur, Kate and Gibbs tired of carry him around. After dinner it was already 9 p.m.
"Come on, Christopher. Bedtime!" Kate said
"But, but."
"No buts, you should be in bed now!"
"Can daddy tuck me in?"
"Yes, he can!" Gibbs said.
15 minutes later he laid down in his bed.
"Daddy?"
"Yes, son?"
"Why do people go to war?"
"Because they want to serve there country and sometimes for personal reasons."
"Now go to sleep."he said touching the boy's head gently.
"Daddy, can you leave a light outside?"
"Sure, no problem."
Gibbs reached the door, when he heard Christopher was getting out of his bed.
"Christopher?" he said.
"Yes, daddy?" the boy answered standing behind him.
"Back to bed. Don't let the bedbugs bite you!"
"But daddy?"
"I'll see you tomorrow, it's time to sleep now not another peep ,okay! Listen! The sandman is coming" he said gently.
The little boy felt a sleep soon after that.
Kate who was standing in the hallway saw everything. Gibbs gently walked out of the room and look to his son before he closed the door.
"He's just like you! You know what he asked when you we're talking to the Staff Sergeant. Mommy can I be a warrior."
"And what did you answered?" Gibbs said with a smile.
"That we'll see."
"That's probably the best thing!"
