Notice Me Senpai
Perhaps it didn't happen suddenly, but for Reiji it did. It was just one day, bam, he finally noticed something strange. He wasn't sure if he should say anything or if it was just his mind plating tricks on him. But a certain kōhai seemed to give him strange looks.
" Ai-Ai?" He said balancing a pencil between his lips and his nose. "Do you think I'm dense?"
"What?"
"You know, like slow to the punch."
"I know what you meant." Ai said, the book in his hands far more interesting than his conversation with the brunette. "I just never thought you would realize it."
"Ehhh? So I am?" Questioned loudly, leaning back in his chair and pushing himself for his desk. His eyes drifted over to Ai, who was laying on his bed. He fumbled dropping his pencil, but didn't care.
"What's wrong?"
"Well..." He gave enough time for the pause to be far to overly dramatic. He almost made it look as though he would burst out in tears at any second. "I think Toki hates me."
"Is that what you think?" Ai flipped the page, in the most uninterested manner. Although it was far more interesting than the conversation, it was still a very dull book with far to much imagery and not enough dialog.
"Am I wrong? Maybe it's Otoyan who hates me. They both give me these weird glares. What do I do Ai-Ai? I don't want them to hate me!"
"It must be hard having a senpai like you."
"Ehh? Nani?"
Ai slapped his hardbound book shut. He rolled over on his side to get a better look at Reiji. His eyes void of emotion, much like his voice, he spoke. "The fact you have to ask me is reason enough."
"Wait that doesn't answer my question."

"Otoya, Tokiya." Syo said, seeing his friends sitting down for their lunch. "Did either of you make any progress?"
Otoya's smile seemed to wilt. "None here."
"No." Tokiya shrugged it off.
"Nani, nani? Progress with what?" Nastuki asked.
"Reiji-senpai never seems to understand or acknowledge any of either of our advances." The redhead spoke.
"Both of you like him?"
Ittoki grinned. "Yup. I told Tokiya I wouldn't mind sharing if it was just with him, but we have a mutual agreement."
"Really? What?"
"Whichever one can get that baka to notice them can have him all to theirself if they choose to." Syo answered. "Ren thinks Tokiya will win, Masato said Otoya will. I think they made bets."
"Really? That sounds fun! Who do you think will win, maybe we can make a bet too!" Natsuki said excitedly, earning a scowl from Tokiya.
"Neither of them." Syo said shoving some food into his mouth. "They are the perfect example of that silly phrase."
"What phrase?" Otoya asked before Natsuki had a chance. Even Ichinose leaned in with curiosity.
"Ya know, 'Notice me senpai!'" He mumbled in a high pitched and dramatic voice.
Just a silly short story.
