The night was cold in the large abandoned warehouse. Artemis felt a sharp prick in her right side right before collapsing to the ground in pain. A swift pair of hands grabbed the back of her catching her before she hit the hard concrete floor. The pain was sharp and stung. It was a clean stab wound and it wouldn't kill her but it still hurt like heck. She ran her hands up her side till she felt the warm blood trickle down her back. When she brought her hands up to the wound she already felt another pair there. When her eyes came back to focus she noticed the sweet loving eyes that were glued to her's.
It was Wally who was trying to stop the blood flow from her right abdomen.
"I really hate Jade" Artemis muttered softly flinching at the pain.
"Well yeah she stabbed you, pretty deep to."
"I'm fine." She told him trying to pull herself to her forearms.
"Sit back down, I've already called the team, they will be her soon."
"No I'm fine." She protested pulling herself up. She let out a loud scream in anguish.
"God you are so stubborn." He yelled helping her back down, she agreed and laid back down.
"Thanks."
"For what" he asked stroking hair long blond hair out of her vivid brown eyes.
"For being fast." He smiled at her remark, "And for loving me" she whispered lightly before passing out from the blood loss.
"All you are is bleeding love" he whispered lightly pressing a kiss on her forehead.
