"Excuse me." A small sheepish voice came, barely audible in the busy halls of Welton Preporatory Academy.
"Excuse me!" The voice called again. Charlie Dalton turned on his heel to see where the voice was coming from. As he did so, Johanna Neagle fell flat on her backside. She closed her eyes and took a deep sigh before gathering her books. Charlie's face displayed a smirk. The smirk his face always displayed after and encounter with a member of the opposite sex.
"Sorry," Johanna murmured. Charlie knelt down to help. "Don't be. I was blinded by your glowing beauty and ran right into you..." A line so disgustingly flattering that it could only be mutter by Charlie. Johanna stared at him, shocked that he would say something like that to her. She grabbed her books and hurried down the hall, her heart fluttering every time she replayed the scene in her mind.
Charlie, satisfied by his attempts to make another young girl fall madly for his boyish charm continued on to the library.
Johanna ran into her dorm and slammed the door. She sighed dreamily."What's this about?" Her roommate- Maria Hearst- asked in her eleagant English accent." Oh, nothing.... Nothing, just day dreaming."
