Okay so this romantic comedy is based loosely on Buffy the Vampire Slayer's "Something Blue." It takes place during season seven, when the turtles have come back from 2105, without Master Splinter. The prologue is from Leo's point of view. The rest of the chapters will be from the third person. I hope you enjoy it!

Setting: In the lair. Micaelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael are training. Leonardo is in the other room, meditating.
Faith. Honor. Bushidō. These are the things that our Master has taught us. Though out our whole lives, Master Splinter has always been with us. He has been our protector, teacher and father. But now he is gone, taken from us.
We have returned from the future, only to be harden by the fact that Viral has taken out father from us. He is trapped between time and space and it is up to us, his sons, to save him.
For the last month, Don, Leatherhead and April have worked around the clock to create a dimensional portal that would allow us to find and rescue Master Splinter. However, they have had little success.
To make maters worse, our enmities, The Foot, have become more powerful than before. My brothers and I found this out the hard way when we first arrived back to the present near their headcounters. Having spotted us, The Foot almost destroyed us. Their master, Karai, has trained them to be faster, and slicker. We barely escaped. As a result, we now need to train harder than ever to improve our skills for the next time we run into The Foot.
Being the leader, I am now in charge of the team. It hasn't been easy. My brothers barely take me seriously when I order them to train. It is frustrating, but someone has to make sure that they are always prepared; and that someone is me.
I know Raph resents me at the moment. He never liked the idea of me being the leader. I'm sure he wishes every night that he was the one in charge instead of me. But Raph should be careful what he wishes for…because one day it might come true…
