Hi there, here is short 'to be continued' fanfic which is a sort of follow on from 'When Raven says no to Nero'. Please review, it makes my day! I generally respond quickly as I have not much to do in my tilde apart from check my fanfiction account every five minute. Mark walden owns hive.
Raven was bored, as usual at hive, there was nothing much entertaining for ages then something catastrophic happened over the space of about 48 hours then it went back to being boring again. She had just had a session with the Contessa learning how to insert control over people and she thought she had finally got the knack of it. Then Raven had a great idea, she could practice controlling the most annoying students at hive. She got out her blackbox and as usual Otto Malpense was at the top over her caller list, Malpense had thought it would be funny to do that do everyone's blackboxes so that when Nero had tried to call her (she was on his speed dial) he would end up with Malpense. She pressed the call button and waited for Otto to pick up, after a minute he spoke,
"what? Oh Raven!"
"I need to meet you in the grappler cavern urgently"
"Why?"
"Now Malpense" she ended the call, he never ceased to annoy her, she jogged to the grappler Cavern and was surprised to find Malpense there and waiting. "How did you get here so fast" Otto shrugged,
"I just had tactical education, why do you want me" Raven paused and thought through what she was going to do she closed her eyes and took a deep breath drawing strength from within.
"Sleep" she commanded, Otto just looked confused, damn, "sleep" she tried again but to no avail, Otto started walking towards the door looking at Raven like she was mad.
"Raven?..." Otto spoke cautiously as though circling a lion in an arena, Raven thought about what the Contessa had said, you had to start with simple things, only the things you you really want to happen, without that compulsion, nothing would happen.
"Raven...where's Nero...why am I here...I need class...I mean go back to class" he stuttered as Raven turned on him with a predatory grin, she knew what to say now.
"Malpense, shut up" Otto gagged tried to speak but nothing came out, Raven grinned this was amazing she had to use this on Nero.
