I told you I needed a code name
Just a one shot that came from last week's episode and has been floating around in my head.

Felicity walked into Palmer Technologies after a long night of Arrow work, she was tired but couldn't let others know. Dig walked next to her as they headed towards the elevator, she knew he was tired too but neither said a word. She heard something behind her and turned to look. It was him, Lonnie Machin standing there taking out guards and anyone in his way. Dig rushed her to the elevator banks as he made his way towards them. The elevator door opened and they got in but Lonnie had made it to them before the door closed, Dig tried to fire a shot but Lonnie tased him before he could squeeze the trigger hitting the ground unceremoniously.
"Felicity, the Green Arrow said your name the other night, so I've been chasing every Felicity in this town which isn't so many. Come with me please," he said holding his hand out to her. She saw the burns on him and knew if she didn't go with him it would end up worse for everyone involved. She took his hand with a disgusted look on her face, in one swift movement he twisted her arm with such force she heard the pop in her shoulder. She was instantly nauseous and was sure she was going to puke all over the floor. "Move," he said in her ear.
They continued making their way towards the lobby, there he was surrounded by some of Team Arrow, Oliver and Thea dressed in their gear. Oliver had the look of fury on his face and his normally blue eyes were dark, Thea was practically sneering at the man, they both had arrows notched at the ready.
"Let her go," Oliver said in his Arrow voice.
"Why, we were just having some fun weren't we sweetheart," he said tugging on her arm some more making her see spots in her vision.
"Let her go now," Oliver threatened.
"Or what? You'll shoot me with an Arrow? Burn me alive again?"
"Last chance," he said again.
"I'm not afraid of you," Lonnie said pulling her closer to his body, she could feel the heat of his breath on her neck. The taser was still placed at her lower back but she knew she had to give them the opportunity to take him down. She lifted her foot with her heel and slammed it into his foot. "YOU BITCH!" he screamed out hitting the taser's button causing her to fall to the ground in a pile. Arrows soon went flying and Lonnie deflected as many as he could and soon was hit with arrows in his chest, killing him.
Oliver rushed to Felicity's side, he felt a pulse, they soon heard sirens and both Thea and him took off before the cops could get there. They changed quickly and made it back to the scene. Felicity was being taken away on a stretcher and Dig was walking next to her. Oliver was making his way towards the ambulance when an office stopped him.
"Sir you can't come in here," he said.
"Let him through," Lance yelled.
"Thank you," Oliver said to Lance. Oliver made his way to Felicity who was talking to the EMT, more like rambling.
"Oliver!" she yelled.
"Hey, are you okay?"
"Dislocated shoulder, I'll live." She said.
"Dig you good?"
"Yeah," he said, "go with her we'll meet you guys at the hospital."
"Thanks Dig," he said grabbing hold of his shoulder.
Soon they were off to the hospital where they fixed her shoulder, putting her arm in a sling. The doctor stepped out of the room leaving Oliver and her alone, he walked over to the bed kissing her on the forehead.
"I told you I needed a codename," she said smugly.
"I guess you do," he said kissing her on the lips this time.
"Thank you for today, it's kind of nice knowing you'll be there."
"I will always protect you Felicity, even if it kills me."
"I know, I love you."
"I love you more."
