Best Ever After-Effects – The Previously Mad Boyfriend Turns Into A Cute, Clingy Mess

A/N: In this, Randall is the youngest wolf, Jack has claustrophobia and Hamish, Jack and Randall are dating. I couldn't believe that they managed to get the sigil out of Randall without there being effects and I kept imagining this, so I decided to actually write it. Sorry if it's really bad – which it will be.

A low whine escapes Randall, prompting Hamish to look curiously at the younger wolf before he hesitantly lifts himself off of his pack mates' back, still unsure as to whether or not Randall is still under the influence of the sigil. As soon as he's lifted his knee from the centre of Randall's back, the younger boy whines again, pushing his chest and torso off of the ground slightly, as though to chase after something, before he settles against the ground again and resumes whining loudly. Jack kneels by Randall's head, fingers gliding through curled, black locks of hair as a means to provide some kind of comfort to his seemingly pained boyfriend. Hamish opens his mouth, ready to tell Jack to stop before he makes Randall mad again but stops as he takes in the calm expression sliding across the youngest boy's face. He looks less pained and his whines are quieter and less frequent, though he still seems to want something.

He proves to be right because not long after, Randall turns his head and with dilated pupils searches the right side of the room, eventually setting his sights on him. Randall reaches out almost blindly before gripping onto his sweater tightly, obviously reluctant to let go even if he doesn't have to quite yet. He whines again, sounding like a fussy child in need a nap and Hamish, feeling tired himself, decides that they can all go to bed now that Randall's cured and the drama's finally ended. He turns Randall over, somehow managing to let clenched fists stay where they are, before sliding his hands around the shoulders and knees of his now clingy, but still adorable, boyfriend. Jack stands with them, hands stiff by his side until Randall removes one hand to reach out blindly for him, despite the fact that he hadn't even been remotely aware of his (or anyone else's) presence beforehand.

Jack, after struggling to remove Randall's vice-like grip for a few minutes, discards his shoes near the door before heading to the bathroom to get ready for what he hopes is a good night's rest, while Hamish slides into bed with Randall, uncaring of the jeans and jacket he's wearing. There's an unusual amount of heat (even considering that they're werewolves and run hotter than humans anyways) coming from the other boy, so he settles with cradling Randall against his side instead of within the confines of their thick blankets. Randall murmurs something under his breath and Hamish attempts to soothe him by rubbing his hand up and down the boy's arm. It doesn't work. Randall just whines and arches away from his side, arms outstretched as though in preparation for receiving a toy (he's sticking with the child innuendos because the dropping eyes and the relaxed posture represent Randall's inner inner child – he's child-like most of the time but this is a whole other level). Jack chooses that moment to enter the room and jump into bed, conveniently right into Randall's still outstretched arms. He watches as Jack rearranges himself – not liking to be held because of his claustrophobia – and instead pulls Randall until he's flush against his chest, head against Hamish's chest, sandwiched between the two. Jack's cradling his taller boyfriend as though he's the most important thing in the world and by the look in his eyes when he lifts his gaze from Randall's face, to finally face him, he is the most important thing in the world, at least to Jack. Hamish lets a small, sleepy smile cross his face before he buries his head into Randall's hair and drifts off to sleep. Jack surveys them for a moment, wondering how magic could possibly bring about such cute, clingy after-effects.
