You come back home from a busy day. There's nothing you want to do, and your body is heavy from the workload you have. A dive unto the bed, and your body grows light as a feather. It's peaceful. And quiet.

'Master Attendant, you're home early.' You turn your head toward the door. It's Peking Duck, standing at the doorway. Since you are exhausted, you try your best to smile and greet him enthusiastically.

However, his face shifts to concern as he sits down on the edge of the bed.

'There is no need to strain yourself. Has today taken a toll on your energy?' You explain that you had been doing paperwork and had a lot of responsibilities in your hands. Everyone else there was no better, you mentioned before leaning against Peking Duck's arm.

'Oh dear, sounds harsh. I can't imagine going through an overloaded schedule like that. Mostly because I don't have them.' That gets a chuckle out of you but ask him why that's so.

'Well, I'm not like you, Master Attendant: a human. I don't know what it's like to live a short life nor understand the mind of one. But that's not the point.'

You quirk your head, like a puppy.

'Though I'm not entirely sure on how your world works, you should take a break once in a while. Relax. Breathe. I'd hate to see you hurt, so take care of yourself for me.'

It's a safe place whenever Peking Duck is around you. He will sometimes let you sit there and lean on him or let you rant about one thing that infuriated you that day. He'll even talk about how the restaurant was going when you are away.

Either way, his presence is like the bed you're both sitting on: comfortable and easy to sleep on. You doze off quickly, and Peking Duck simply smiles.

'Rest well, Master Attendant.'

Seya's Notes:

Peking Duck was one of my first UR Souls upon the release here, and I'm in love with his gentle personality! Though, I will say that 'Uppity' as his trait might not suit him too well. Anyways, the following stories here will just be some Oneshots, so there won't be an elaborate story.
