So what happened at the dance you might ask?
Well I went out to eat with Dr. Chase, Dr. Wilson and 5 other girls. We all talked about random things and laughed a whole bunch. Then Dr. Wilson had to bring up my ex Cuddy. I just laughed and told him about this new girl I've been talking to and how we used to be close friends. He asked me if she was going to go to the dance. I told him that she didn't say anything about it and she works at a different Hospital so I doubt it.
So I finally got to the Hospital and Dr. Wilson had to park right next to Cuddy, I was just thinking to my self, Shit this is going to be great. But as soon as I got on the dance floor I forgot all about her, that is until I saw her. She happened to be talking to one of her friends right next to me, Dr. Wilson, Dr. Chase and My 2 cousins. I kept talking to Dr. Wilson about that new girl. Then I turned around and there she was! That cute girl I thought I would never date. I didn't even know she was going to be at the dance! I instantly forgot about Cuddy and started talking to this girl. She got shy and walked away to talk to her friends again so I talked to mine.
"Compliment her dude!" Dr. Chase and Dr. Wilson both said to me. Even Cameron told me to go up to her and keep talking!
"Isn't it too soon after Cuddy?" I asked.
"Cuddy is being a jerk and you're not going to get anywhere with her." I was in total shock because the person who said this happened to be both mine and Cuddy's aquantance.
I talked to this girl some more and we danced a few times. "Who's that girl in that black dress?" She asked and pointed across the dance floor.
"Oh, don't mind her" I said. "She is just surprised you and me are dancing together." She happened to be pointing at Cuddy and her friend. Her friend seemed to be staring into space and She kept taking quick glances at me. I ended up hugging this girl who's name will remain a secret. "Wow, You are way taller than me!" She laughed. I didn't realize it, but boy I was quite taller than her, I'm quite taller than Cuddy, but surprisingly when she said that I didn't think of Cuddy for a second. "Yeah, it took me longer than you to become perfect." I replied.
"I realized you were perfect a long time ago!" She said.
I blushed so hard. I had to think of something to say, but I didn't know what so I just stayed silent and continued to dance with her. After all we're still nothing more than friends.
After that song was over she went by her friends again and I went by mine. I ended up staying with my friends the rest of that night and didn't talk to her until the dance was over. I told her to have a good night.
Again tonight I started to text her and I wasn't expecting her to give me any compliments, but I was talking about things I like and her reply instantly was "I always knew there were reasons I should like you!"
My heart stopped for a second and I thought to myself, I don't regret anything that happened these last couple of months. I learned so much and became a better person, and not only did I get my dream, but I caused another girl to get hers.
